Filing a notice

Use the report form (choose "Copyright infringement") or email the agent above. A valid notice must include: identification of the copyrighted work; the URL of the material on this site; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised; a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act; and your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the agent containing: identification of the removed material and its former URL; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the US, any district in which we may be found); and your signature. We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the claimant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive repeated valid infringement notices are terminated.

Register the designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office (copyright.gov/dmca-directory) before launch — safe harbor depends on it. The directory entry is public, so use the LLC's registered-agent or PO-box address and a role mailbox, not a personal name or home address.
